Oh! All these points had me traveling down memory lane of sorts. I am guilty of making all these mistakes and then have also spent so much time dwelling on my past. But I am thankful to my friends and family who have always managed to get me out of my depressed and repressive state.

Very well written article and thanks for sharing 😊

Excellent post – I tend to worry too much about what other people think – however I find that as I get older I am able to tell myself not to worry so much – and I try very hard just to be myself – great tips in your post – thank you

Love the point about expressing individuality. One of my favorite quotes/pieces of advice is from Chris Sacca: “Be your unapologetically weird self.” So true!

    Such excellent points.

Comparison really is a thief of joy. I just need to remind myself of this (or get it tattooed on my head, lol).

    Thanks for posting

I love this post. As an introvert, I’ve spent most of my life feeling like I couldn’t be myself because I would never make it in this world. It took me so long to realise that I didn’t have to conform to others’ expectations and I that I could attempt things that no one thought I was capable of.

This is such a great post. It is so easy to to fall in to this trap and very hard to get out of. I am terrible for comparing myself and rubbishing my own strengths x

Wonderful post! I really liked your tip on not falling into the comparison trap it seriously damages your confidence. It’s difficult to shrug off what others think about you but again you have to do what is right for you and not is it your job to make everyone happy all the time. Thanks for sharing.

This post is so true. I’ve fallen into that trap often in my life trying to fit in. It’s not easy and figuring out who you are can be a long process. I thin kit’s never ending as people grow and change, but it’s something we should be mindful of.
